All About Emma
Emma is a Villanova graduate with a Master of Science in Counseling, specializing in sports-related anxiety, body image, borderline personality disorder, PTSD, LGBTQ+ populations, Inner Child work, and women with ADHD. Her therapeutic approach is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and collaboration. She believes healing happens when you feel safe, seen, and supported—and that therapy should be a space where you discover self-acceptance, rebuild confidence, and reconnect with the parts of yourself that feel the hardest to embrace.
As a queer-identifying therapist, Emma is passionate about providing affirming care for LGBTQIA+ individuals navigating identity, relationships, and self-acceptance. She understands firsthand the importance of finding a safe, supportive space where all parts of you are welcomed and honored.
With a background in treating trauma, personality disorders, and LGBTQIA+ affirming care, Emma specializes in working with individuals who feel stuck in cycles of anxiety, self-doubt, and past pain. Whether you're struggling with body image, sports-related performance anxiety, or navigating life as an adult with ADHD, she helps you untangle what’s been holding you back.
Emma provides a warm and engaging presence, using humor, connection, and trust to create a space where clients feel empowered to explore, heal, and grow.

Life can feel overwhelming, especially when past experiences shape how you see yourself and the world around you. Emma works with her clients to unpack trauma, challenge negative self-beliefs, and develop skills for emotional stability and self-compassion.
She draws from various evidence-based modalities to tailor therapy to each client's needs:
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) – Helps regulate emotions and reduce distress.
Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT) – Supports values-driven decision-making and personal growth.
Motivational Interviewing (MI) – Encourages self-discovery and readiness for change.
Inner Child Work & Parts Work – Nurtures the younger parts of yourself that have carried the weight of past trauma.
Emma’s approach is collaborative—you set the goals, and she walks beside you on the journey.
