Integrating Body & Mind Through Trauma-Informed Yoga

Jessi understands that trauma isn’t just stored in the mind—it lives in the body. As a trauma-informed yoga therapist, she integrates somatic practices, mindfulness, and movement-based healing to help clients reconnect with their physical selves. Whether you’re processing grief, working through PTSD, or healing from childhood trauma, yoga-based interventions can provide a powerful way to release stored emotions and cultivate safety within your body.

  • Grief, trauma, and disconnection from self can feel overwhelming. Jessi’s therapeutic approach is collaborative and holistic, focusing on the mind-body connection and integrating multiple healing modalities:

    • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) – A powerful trauma resolution tool that helps process and reframe painful memories.

    • Internal Family Systems (IFS) – Supports healing inner wounds by working with the younger parts of yourself that carry pain, fear, or shame.

    • Somatic Therapy – Encourages emotional processing through body awareness, helping release trauma stored in the nervous system.

    • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) – Provides tools for emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and self-compassion.

    • Trauma-Informed Yoga & Mindfulness – Integrates breathwork and movement to regulate emotions, reconnect with the body, and promote grounding.

Jessi tailors her approach to honor your unique experiences and needs, walking alongside you as you navigate your healing journey.
