Our Core Values

These values define who we are and how we commit to show up as a practice, in the therapy space and in our individual lives.

We Celebrate Who You Are

We celebrate the queer community, the black community, the Latinx community, the indigenous community & all communities of color, all genders, all bodies, and neurodiversities.

We strive to prioritize the voices of marginalized individuals and those who have experienced trauma in all forms.

We are a team of clinicians that believe in the freedom, healing, liberation and celebration of all bodies.

As trauma practitioners, we acknowledge the reality and impact of systemic oppression, racial macro or micro aggressions, and abuse and neglect of marginalized communities as traumatic at a fundamental level.

We strive to bring light, truth, healing and compassion to our clients with the intention that it will shine out to the larger community and the world.

We Denounce Oppression

As a practice founded by Queer community members, we stand with all people who have experienced a history of oppression and vow to denounce racism and oppression in all forms. We strive to build a foundation of anti-oppression that weaves through our clinical skills, our business structure, and our outreach, and the culture of our organization.

We Empower through Education & Collaboration

We continue to educate ourselves and listen to feedback on how we can be better healers, especially to the oppressed & marginalized communities who experience systemic trauma.

We strive to provide education to our clients on the traumatic impact of oppression.  We provide team trainings and clinical supervision to our community members through collaboration and continued education to proactively support those who have experienced systemic oppression, neglect, and abuse.

We empower our clients by giving space for each voice and ensure that each person leads and guides in their own care.

We Do Our Own Work

We commit to continuously self examining, challenging ourselves to dismantle white supremacy, and doing our own personal internal work so that we can provide therapy that best supports our clients and moves towards equity for all.

We practice boundaries, self care, humility and reliability so that our own self actualization can create open, emotionally clean, safe spaces for our clients to do their trauma work.

We Commit to Community Wellness

We open ourselves to the diverse community as a whole, including people from oppressed and marginalized communities to join our space through education, as members of our team, and as the clients we serve.
